In Hindu religion, cow is considered to be a sacred animal. It is assumed to have all the 33 crore gods in her stomach. She is considered to be the giver of luck. In parts of India people drink the cow's urine. It's the closest god that people could see and believe. But the saddest truth is, it is also the most exploited animal in India, first for milk, then for a calf and when she gets old, for meat and leather.
This story is also about a cow who was in a shelter for a dairy product company. Looking at her condition she looks like she was well fed and well kept, but as she was getting old, she had to be moved. Most old cows are moved from their facility to the slaughter house, there they are used to produce meat and leather. #2 A Cow Doesn't Just Give Us Milk. It Can Also Teach Love.
This cow has been a faithful companion to the company. She did her job and stayed true to its owner. But as all good things have to come to an end, so did her employment. She was being taken to some place and she did not like the idea. She was sad that she had to leave her home and didn't want to get into the truck. When she was forced into the truck, she noticed something.
This animal thought something is wrong. She was very scared and began to look here and there, what she saw was the inside of the truck. She thought this would be her end, she would not get to see the light of day ever again, she will be put to sleep. But just as the truck stopped and she thought everything was done, this happened. #1 She Now Has A New Family.
This cow was so scared in the truck, that she was crying the entire way. But fortunately she was not taken to the slaughter house. Instead she was taken to an open meadow where there was a herd of other cows and was left to live there.The herd accepted her very quickly and let her be a new member of that old family.
