#5 Remember Her?
In October 2014, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was cancelled by TLC. The reasons were kind of appalling. Thomson's Mother June "Mama June" Shannon was allegedly dating a convicted child molester. And to make matters worse, he had Allegedly laid his hands on the little child too.
TMZ reports that TLC had filmed a full season but decided not to air it out of respect for the child's welfare. In a capitalist world, that's admirable.
But what has Thomson been up to ever since?

#4 New Beginnings
In Febreuary 2015, a photo was posted to Alana's Facebook page. She was going to a new school in Georga. She was both "excited and nervous."
In the picture on the right is her sister Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Thompson. She returned to school months later after being homeschooled for a while after a brain injury.

#3 The Doctors
Mama June and Alana recently appeared on the daytime health talk show The Doctors, where concerns about her weight were expressed. Alana had gained a lot of weight since the public last saw her.
Mama June claimed it was due to the steroids she was taking due to some other health issues of hers but the Doctors were not stupid. They could tell the real reason...

#2 Drop 'em!
The child had not been eating healthy they said. And they went on to hook her up with a nutritionist who chalked up a personalized die plan for Alana.
On their final appearance on the Doctors, Mama June posted to instgram this picture praising Alana's 8-pound weight loss in just one month! That's unbelievable for her starting weight and age!
Keep reading to find out her secret!

#1 Surprise!
Alana's weight loss was due to "eating smaller portions and walking," and also the "encouraging support" from the family's personal trainer, Natasha Fett.
Months later, Alana made a rare red carpet appearance in her home state of Georgia! She was at the grand opening of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Benzino's new restaurant, Benzino's Crab Shack.
"Hair on fleek," the caption to this photo read.
