Every parent in this world has a different style of raising up their kid. A few like to use polite ways of teaching them a lesson whereas others just believe in behaving strictly with their kids. Terri Evans belongs to the later group.
She tried making a statement by shaming her own 12 year old son publicly on Facebook as he bullied a girl of his age in his school.
#3 All Because Of A Broken Shoe
So apparently, she got really pissed with her son for breaking his classmates shoe and therefore, she shamed him on Facebook as a form of punishment that she thought is appropriate.
He has since written an apologetic letter to the girl involved. His mother also says she has no regrets about shaming him online. Her post is very interesting and every parent should read it.

So she says, "I think it is important for children and adults to realise that what goes online tends to usually stay online or just simply reappear somewhere else and therefore, they should think twice about their actions."
But post this post saga on facebook, she got a lot of negative feedbacks. Therefore, she decided to give a justification over what she did with her son.
#1 Her Justification
You just read her post in the image above. She got a lot of criticism for this post. So in her justification, this is what she says.
'I don't feel terrible for what I have done, I stand by my actions but my intention was for his friends to see it not the whole country to see it.'
'As soon as that happened for me it went to far. I would do it again tomorrow if he did it tomorrow'
'What works for one parent's child will work for one, what works for another will work for another.'
'When I take his computer off him, he goes "yeh alright", if he has chores to do it's "yeh alright", he is just so reasonable.'
'The only thing I could do was show his mates that he is not big and he is not clever and he can feel just a tiny bit of what that little girl felt.'
'He has apologised to her, he wrote her a letter the same night and took it to school the next day.'
'It was the first time he has ever done anything like that and I wanted to make sure that it was the last.'
