#4 A Tattoo

Tattoos can be the perfect way to express our feelings. The way that a person looks is often responsible for making the first impression. A visual medium such as a tattoo helps describe who we are without giving away too much.

These tattoos can be unique, amazing and in their own way tell a story. This girl recently got a tattoo that raised a very important issue. Social media, news channels, people and even celebrities have come together to applaud her bravery.

This tattoo will make you think and move you at the same time.....

#3 Rebekah Miles

This is Rebekah Miles. Rebekah is a 21 year old student at George Fox University in Oregon. At just 21 years old, Rebekah Miles has made quite the impression with a tattoo depicting her daily struggle.

Rebekah suffers from depression. Inspired by a series of ads by Samaritans of Singapore, a suicide prevention group based in the Southeast Asian country, her tattoo has a hidden message. Read face on, it says, "I'm fine". But there is a lot more to it....

#2 Save Me

From her perspective, the tattoo reads "Save me". At first, she was nervous about how her parents would react to her getting a tattoo. "Dear mom and dad, please don't kill me over this permanent choice. I want you to hear me out," she wrote on Facebook. Her post is a passionate expression of her battle with depression.

It is meant to reflect the upside-down world of depression. Her explanation is heartfelt and describes what so many people have to fight through every day.

If it's such a huge issue, why aren't we having a conversation about it?"

Well, Bekah started a conversation all right. Her post got over 35,000 shares. It got the attention of celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Zooey Deschanel.
