#3 9/11

Once upon a time, we told you about the worst jobs in America and today we'll discuss the worst day of America. Who can forget that dreadful day? Which day was it? Sunday, Monday, Tuesday??? How does it matter? Tons of humans died and property was hammered? Well, that day will go down as the worst day in U.S.A's history. This story that we are about to show you is equally sad. The story is about a guy. His Parents Had No Clue What Happened To Their Son On 9/11 Until They Saw what we are about to show you ahead.

But before that, answer this simple question, if you had only an hour left to live on Earth, how would you spend it? Well, this guy called Welles Remy Crowther spent it helping others to safety. So what exactly happened? Actually, he was a part of 9/11 mishap. He was one of those thousands of victims who were struggling for their life after the planes crashed twin towers. In those final moments of his life, Remy sent a voice mail to his mom. So what exactly did he say? What was the reaction of his Mom?

#2 Her Reaction

Well, no awards for guessing that his mother's reaction was very emotional. Well, what would've been your reaction if your son just called you minutes before he would die. Crazy, isn't it? "Mom, this is Welles. I want you to know that I'm okay," this is what he said in a voicemail.

Those were the last words Allison Crowther ever heard from him. From the tone of his voice, his parents somehow realized that this might be the last time they are talking to their son. After hearing this voice note, they started remembering each and every thing about their son from his childhood. Growing up, Welles was given a red handkerchief by his father, Jefferson, and instructed him to carry it around. By the time he reached the age of six, it became an accessory that he never left home without. "He loved that red bandanna, and he always had it with him," his father recalled. At the age of 16, he was so interested in becoming a firefighter that he signed up to be a junior firefighter at the local department. Whether at the fire house or on the lacrosse field, he was always a team player, always doing what he could to help out others around him. Even then, he never lost sight of that red bandanna. This red Bandanna played a very important role in the end. Wanna know how?

#1 The Video

After reading all this, I am sure that you would want to know what happened next? This is unbelievable. His true passion was to one day become a New York City firefighter. Sadly, he was never able to live out that dream. When the second plane crashed into the South Tower, his parents knew that the worst possible scenario was unfolding right before their eyes on television. Their son was dead. What they weren't aware of at that time was that Welles spent the final moments of his life trying to save the lives of others. They had no idea that he had died a hero.

No one, including his parents knew about his heroism in those final moments. It wasn't until several months later, when the New York Times published an article to report the accounts of several survivors that people got to know about this man with the Red Bandanna. The moment Jefferson and Allison read the words "red handkerchief," they knew the woman was talking about their beloved son, Welles. Their Son was very brave. Yes, he died but he saved many lives before sacrificing his. Check out the video to know more details of this story.
