#3 Dana Snay
Dana Snay's father was the headmaster of a famous prep school called Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami. Dana's father hoped to continue working at Gulliver until he was 69. But his contract was not renewed and he was furious! Snay said that he was being discriminated on the basis of his age(which is illegal) and so took the matter to court.
Then?

The court ruled in favor of Snay and Gulliver had to not only pay him $80,000 payout, but an additional $60,000 for his attorney and $10,000 in back pay! Now that's a lot of money! All of this was under a confidentiality clause, meaning except for Snay and his wife no one else was ever supposed to know anything about it!
And that is when Dana Snay ruined it for her parents. Big time.

As per the court orders, no one was supposed to know about the outcome of the case or the money.
But when Dana posted this on Facebook...
"Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver." Which was quite blunt and continued to post....
"Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT."
Now here's some information as to what happened next. Dana herself studied at Gulliver before going to Boston College. Which meant a lot of her friends were those who studied in Gulliver. And so it didn't take long before the lawyers heard about it and since it was directly in violation of the entire confidentiality clause...The court reversed its decision.
Which meant no Europe trip for Dana and no money for Papa Snay.
