According to Fox 4 News, 28-year-old Ashley Ann Lewis was arrested for a plethora of offenses. Two of offenses she was charged for include possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
That's a strange and almost impossible to achieve combo of pissing the cops off if you ask me. But she pulled it off, and here's how...
#3 What Happened
During a supposedly impromptu search, the police found eight glass smoking pipes and tons of other drug paraphernalia. They were all sent to the forensic lab and obviously came back testing positive for methamphetamine residue.
But there's nothing like an impromptu search in this world. Cops don't just find out what happens behind closed doors.

A friend of Lewis posted this picture up on facebook hoping it would help both of them quit smoking meth. The post read:
“Please help my friend Ashley Lewis and I stop using meth. We can’t even stop if there is a baby around. We really need help! SHARE THIS POST IF YOU WANT THIS BABY GIRL TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH METH"
Thankfully someone had the sense to report this to the police. The consequences were severe.

She was essentially caught red-handed smoking meth in front of her baby. I do not even want to imagine what kind of upbringing the child would have had if this went unreported.
Ashley is now facing a prospect of upto 15 years in jail.
