Let me start here with one simple question. How amazing is Science? There's no answer to this question because science is much more than amazing. This world is based on SCIENCE. And today we'll be talking about one such brilliant wonder of Science. This one is Physics at its utmost best. So what is happening here?
Some brilliant magnetic fun is happening here. The amazing video ahead shows the effect of Lenz's Law - as the magnet falls it induces a current in the copper pipe. In this instance, we get to see a magnet essentially floating inside of a copper tube. It's not magic, just science. According to IFL, "the magnet induced a current in the copper pipe, which in turn produced a magnetic field. The direction of this current then opposed the change in the magnet's field, resulting in the magnet being repelled and thus falling more slowly." See the video ahead and get amazed!!

One thing is for sure, as soon as a magnet and copper are put together, they become magical. I loved each and every bit of this video. The guy literally makes the magnet float in air. Although the fact is that When a magnet is dropped down a conducting copper pipe, it feels a resistive force and so doesn't really go down completely.
