#3 What happened
Audree was going about her busy day and did the general mistake (Remember
these mistakes in your 20s we warned you of?) we all are so ignorant of. She wore her hair band on the wrist for a while then suddenly, she started to notice redness and irritation there. Very soon a lump started to form. When she went to the doctor, they prescibed her with antibiotics but that didn't work out for her either.
Worried, she consulted ER. They told her that she needed an immediate surgery at Norton Healthcare with Dr Amit Gupta. Apparently, the cause of the infection was the hair tie. It dripped into her skin pores and caused diffrent types of infection. Let us show you what they had to say.

#2 What she had to say
He commented, "Be careful, you can't put all these hair ties around the wrist because it can cause problems with the skin."
It's surprising how we have no idea about these small things. But now that you know, let's be more careful in our habits. Also, Audree directed:
'It could have been a whole different ballgame.'
'Once it gets into your bloodstream people are known to go into a coma, your body shuts down. It could have been way worse.'
Audree Kopp's story is a warning to all of us who wear the hairbands on our wrist. Infact, even the news covered this. What they had to say is something we all should know.

#1 What the news covered
So how often does your wrist have a hair band tied around it? Do you think you will still have it there ever again? I don't think so, at least not after watching this video. The news said:
