#2 Mike Hughes, The Fireman
Years ago, a fireman called Mike Hughes saved a 9 month old Danielle Davison on duty. Danielle's home caught fire when Mike brought her out safely. Almost all the stories end on this happy note but this story is different.
Remembering the old days, Mike says, 'When we arrived, a large part of the house was already engulfed in flames. I found Danielle curled up in her crib in the bedroom.'
The Message
Years later, he was curious to know about the girl he saved once upon a time. Luckily, he found her on Facebook and messaged her 'I think I once pulled you out of a fire when you were still a very little girl.'
Mike didn't really expected the girl to reply. But contrary to Mike's belief, the girl replied. And what she wrote embarked the start of something very special unexpectedly.

The Affection
Danielle couldn't believe that her childhood superhero (according to her mom) messaged her. She replied him back asking for all the details of that unfortunate day.
From this moment onwards, they didn't stop talking; Mike became a second father to Danielle. In fact, they became so close that Danielle invited Mike to her graduation ceremony, as her one-time savior and close friend.
#1 The Speech
Danielle's graduation speech was really important for Mike. She said, 'Mike's presence here is really important to me. I always cry from happiness when I think about how everything could have been so different. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.'
Obviously, Mike became emotional after hearing this. This is how you show humanity, love and affection towards others. I just wish that we find more such stories around.
