#8 Shishapangama
Rising 26,000 feet above the sea live, Shishapangama is one of the rockiest mountains for the climbers and have also claimed many lives till date! It is the 14th tallest peak in the world and is considered to be climber's favourite peak because of its adventurous route!
#7 The Forbidding Peak
It was the last mountain over 8,000 meters in height to be scaled by the climbers. According to different sources, expeditions to Shishapangma have claimed the lives of 29 climbers to date.

#6 Avalanches are biggest threat to climbers
Only a climber can tell you the severity of an avalanche! This disaster have the capacity to destroy everything within seconds without giving anyone a chance to escape it!
Something similar happened with two climbers, Alex and Dave who have swept away in an avalanche in 1999.
#5 Alex and Dave
Both Alex and cameraman Dave Bridges were "locked in the ice within eyesight of us and there is nothing we can do about it," the team reported.
There was yet another climber, Conrad Anker, who was also caught in the avalanche but he survived it, though with severe head and torso injuries. The team spent 20 hours searching for Alex and Dave before finally giving up hope!
Failing to find the pair left an open wound. "There wasn't that sense of closure," said Conrad.
#4 The Climbers
In 2016, two new climbers, Ueli and David who have set numerous records in mountain climbing set their foot to climb! They are not new to rocky peaks and all the adventures that come in the way to the top!
Ueli was even the part of 2014 expedition where they lost two of their friends after an avalanche hit the mountain!

#3 They Found Their Friends
On their way up, they found a pair of bodies partially melted out of the glaciers. Upon encountering them and knowing the history of these mountains, both of them were sure that these bodies were of Alex and Dave. David even called Conard to confirm about the same by tracing the colour of their backpacks and boots

#1 The Closure
Finally, the families of Alex and Dave will get a closure! There are so many people who get disappeared in the storms of Himalayas, they're still frozen in the ice, but unlike all of them, theirs got found!
Both the families will travel to Nepal to reclaim the dead remains of their loved ones to end the worrying of 16 years!
