This is The Lochnagar crater in France. This beauty was created after British forces detonated 24 tons of ammonal in a packed mine underneath German forces on July 1st, 1916. Look at this thing 100 years later.

Who would say that once upon a time, a deadly war took place on this piece of beauty. The war was fought on this land. You can still see the land bearing trenches, shell crater and wire pickets.

Look at this football properly. This is arguably the most iconic football ever. It was kicked by a British Regiment - The London Irish Rifles- across No Mans Land on Sept 25th 1915 as they attacked German trenches. This is the same field on which the battle took place.

This place was blessed by thousands of soldiers during the world war 1. During the war, it served as the resting place for 11,954 soldiers who died in the Ypres Salient on the Western Front. This is also the largest cemetery for Commonwealth forces in the world.
