The Xennial
The kids between the late 70s and early 80s were already given a name, the irritating millennials or the pessimists of Gen-X.But, if you were born in between 1977 to 1983, then you are generation Xennial, i.e. you are neither of the former mentioned. This is a small and minor classification which makes them an entire mini-generation.
Moderation of Extremes
The Xennials are neither as optimistic as the millennials who overestimate their potential nor as pessimistic as the Gen X who are drowned in their own cynicism. They are the moderation of these extremes. As the name and the research on this generation are relatively new, there is still a lot to discuss and find out about the people’s characteristics.
The Balanced Generation
The Xennials were born before the technologically advanced arena where internet and mobiles were deeply embedded in one’s life but again they fairly speeded up to the technologies and learnt them fairly enough. They grew as the technology did, so they are as efficient as the millennials in operating the devices but they also remember a time without this technological equipment.
