X-factor contestant
Christopher Maloney was an X-factor UK 2012 contestant. As he entered the audition hall, he was totally nervous as he saw all of them looking up at him. The judges were worried if he was even ready for the performance. But it wasn't too late that they became his fans.
Five years...
It took him five years to build up the courage to apply for it and he still wasn't sure if he could perform in front of such massive crowd.
Discouragement
But his love for singing was more than his insecurity and he finally decided to go to the auditions and prove the people who discourage him that he will be on the top of the world with his talent.
His biggest suporter
In this big world where he was all alone, discouraged by the people, his 76-year-old grandma was the only one who supported him and believed in him. She was counting on him to face his worst fear heroicly.

Christopher started singing The Rose by Bette Midler and, Oh boy, he just started a show-stopping performance which impressed the judges and the audience as the performance elevated.
The video
As the performance ended the whole crowd started hollering for him and he was left in tears on stage. Who knew that this contestant who was trembling like a leaf before the performance would win the hearts of so many people.
