#3 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
Everybody loves Ellen! We do, don't we?! Her quirky nature and sass talks never fail to amuse us. Need I mention the kickass dance moves she dishes out too?
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has become somewhat of a much-needed balm in everyone's life, not because of the respite it provides us from the daily life. But also for the truly exceptional common-man heroes it honors.
From gifting a deserving mother her dream car to giving $20,000 to a hero who saved 20 children on a bus. Ellen's done it all...And this week she had yet another hero to introduce to us.

#2 The Occupational Therapist
Ashley is a 24-year-old occupational therapist for underprivaleged kids. Ashley says she has found the way to enrich the lives of her students and is doing everything she can to carry it out.
To give is better than to receive
And Ashley was most certainly giving alright... She travels 30 minutes every day to work in one of America's most economically disadvantaged counties. She voluntarily took up this job even though it pays her so less, all for the joy of helping those students who have special needs.
Despite, the low wages Ashley gives back 10% of her earnings for the betterment of her students. And since Brantley County, Georgia's students needed help, Ellen stepped in.

#1 The Surprise
After Ellen heard about Ashley, Ellen invited Ashley and her husband as audience members. But they had no idea that Ellen secretly planned to have them on as special guests to share her story and give this well deserving teacher a few surprises along the way!
