Ken Owens, who is one of the successful taxidermists with an experience of many years had primarily thought that he had seen almost everything over these years in his career as a Taxidermists. Until one day, he found this huge alligator. Even they were stunned to find such a thing inside the alligator.
Read on to know what did they find.
While they dressed the alligator, they found an intact female deer inside his belly. Commenting on this incident, Owens said,
“I always thought that once an alligator killed something that it ate it a piece at a time,†Owens said. “I can’t imagine how it got ahold of that adult deer and ate it in one piece like that. It’s unbelievable.â€<
Though the deer was partially digested, Owens was able to tell it's age and size based on part of its jaw bone. According to him, the deer was about three years old and was average sized. To think about how the alligator managed to gulp down the entire deer in one go is indeed unimaginable.
