In a recent research, the royal historian Hugo Vickers has revealed that Queen Elizabeth II carries her trusty Lauren handbag not only for fashion purposes but also to make secret gestures to her staff.
If she switches her royal handbag from one hand to another, it signals her staff that she’s ready to terminate the conversation.
