Photographer Sends A Drone To Chernobyl. This Is How The City Looks Like Now

#6 Chernobyl Disaster

In 1986 due to the Chernobyl disaster the city Pripyat in Ukraine was evacuated in emergency situation. The abandoned city is now explored up from the air by a photographer Danny Cooke who is a freelance photographer from the UK. Let's see how it looks now....

#5 Nuclear Disaster

Before 1986, the city was the home of about 50,000 people. But due to the nuclear disaster, hundreds of thousands of civilians were forced to move from there. According to Cooke, it is the most interesting and dangerous place that he has visited.

#4 Reclaimed By Nature

It is obvious that after such a long time span the infrastructure of the city has just ruined. The buildings, parks, industries were all in a bad shape. But the most interesting thing that you will find here is the forces of nature that were reclaiming the land.

#3 Golden Flowers

Cooke describes this ghost town turned city in one word as desolation. However, the beautiful golden flowers are moving along with the wind. The trees are growing out of the roofs of the houses, and you can even notice some graffiti on the walls.

#2 Ivory Coloured Birds

Due to the immense vegetation grown up here you will find the lovely ivory coloured birds flying here and there. They are free to move and fly around.
