Djalta and Ima
The wildlife conservationist, Damian Aspinall spent several years raising two gorillas, named Djalta and Ima who were only babies. Damian took care of them until they were 12 years old, and they left them in their natural habitat.

Damian and his wife
Years later Damian decided to check on the two gorillas and bought his wife along to check up on them. He wanted his wife to meet them and know who these adorable beings are who he spoke about so much to her.

New to wildlife
Damian's wife is new to wildlife and this was going to be a whole new experience for her. He didn't know how it would be for the gorillas. There were so many questions that occupied his mind.

They were stunned!
Will they recognize him, or how will they react to the new face (his wife). But for his surprise, the gorillas recognized him in an instant. Damian then encouraged his wife to ease around them and was gesturing that she was close to him, by shifting towards her close.

They accepted her...
The gorillas were acceptable towards her and shared the same liking. It was not only the gorillas who were shocked but Damian and his wife were in utter amazement of what had happened.

The exceptional bond
Here's a video of their reunion that was shared on social media. It is very rare to see such beautiful relationships between humans and animals. The bond that they share is one of a kind.
