One of the Judges said, “She looks sweet.†Maria is from South Wales and she came all the way for the auditions to showcase her incredible talent.
Nervousness
She was a little nervous before she started the performance but as the Judges talked to her about the things she knows about her family and where she came from, it made her feel comfortable to start the performance.

When she was asked what she was going to perform, she said that “I Have Nothing†by her idol, Whitney Houston. Everyone including the judges was surprised by this song choice and were skeptical of her talent.

But when she started singing, she left everyone speechless. Everyone erupted into cheers and appreciated for her performance. She singlehandedly took the whole hall with the storm.
