#7 The Sympathetic One
A couple walked into the store. The guy was willing to spend around $20k on the ring but the girl pushed him to buy a ring worth $30k! After about three weeks later, the girl came to get the diamond changed to the cheapest one and asked for the refund! So I immediately called the guy to ask for his approval because it was him who paid for the check! Apparently, the girl called off the engagement and was cheating on him with the diamond!
#6 The Saddest One
A guy used to pay the installments every Christmas to buy a beautiful ring for his wife! On the third Christmas, he paid the full amount and went with the ring. But soon after, he returned to the store, when I asked him about how much she liked the ring. She quietly passed away to the next counter. Apparently, his wife broke up with him on the Christmas eve! Sad!
#5 The Rookie Mistake
A couple bought a beautiful ring together and got 12 installments to pay for it! But soon after, they realized that they cannot afford it so they returned it right back!
#4 The Sad Couple
Working in a pawn shop is difficult! The young couples come here to sell off their rings. It is always sad because my boss knew that he could get them for a cheaper price because the people just wanted to get rid of the rings. The poor souls would usually leave with around half the money the ring was worth just to move on.
#3 The Lucky Guy
So I sold my engagement ring to get some money for booze. The fun part? The girl with whom I wanted to go out for party is now my wife and we have two little daughters! I was indeed lucky!
#2 The Relationships
Working at a jewelry store, I'd say one out of every 15 rings we sold would be returned. I actually got pretty good at picking out the couples whose relationship wouldn't make it to the wedding. It's really very simple, the little things that indicate couples are in love; holding hands, smiling, showing each other respect. The couples that were snippy at each other usually didn't make it.

So I thought I would buy a ring. I went to the shop, picked up one ring, paid the advance! But soon, I was fired from the job, so I had to cancel the plan. The jewelers were pretty nice to give me back my deposit!
