In the U.S there is an estimate of half a million people who are homeless, and most of them suffer from mental illness which is quite severe.

It is a problem that the community has to deal with which is why the police departments get involved in helping the less fortunate.

These are the pictures of a man who the police gave a makeover which stunned him and the others who looked at him. It was a real transformation that the guy went through.
City of Rome Police Department
This took place in the City of Rome Police Department. They did a really good job of making him look amazing. The man first took a shower and then they gave him some clean clothes, and shoes to wear.
Drastic change
Then they worked up his hair so that he would look better. When they started cutting his hair off they didn't know what drastic change the guy would go through.
Kindness
They decided to give him a good look that would stand out from the standard hairstyle. They made the man really happy with all the kindness they offered to him and what they did to his look. The City Of Rome Police Department really did a really good job.
