#12 'Bridge Of Death'- Where Curiosity Actually Lead To Death
This bridge in Pripyat became an unlikely stage for the death of many, following the Chernobyl disaster when people gathered upon the bridge to view the many coloured flames from the Reactor 4. The people were told the radiation level was minimal and they could view the incidents safely. But unfortunately, there was a huge spike in radiation levels on that very bridge and everyone died due to fatal doses of radiation.

This photo was taken as a little girl and her godmother made their way down a fire escape since the building was on fire. They were moments away from being saved by a fireman but the fire escape collapsed and they were falling 50 meters to their death. But the girl survived since she landed on her godmother's body.
