Dry your feet with a towel and trim the affected nail in a straight line. Don't cut it with pointy edges in the corners. Remember rounded nails are what leads to ingrown nails.

#4 Secure
Raise the toe-nail a bit, not too high, and place a cotton ball piece between the nail and the skin. This will prevent the ingrown nail from appearing again. Use the tweezers to secure the cotton in place.

Try to keep your feet uncovered as much as possible, at home and outside as well by wearing open sandals.
