That must have stung. I mean, you can see how much he's willing to hope beyond hope that he's a part of their family as much he believes they are a part of his. And that was the ultimate final blow. He must have been so heartbroken. I wonder what he said though....

Now, that's karma for you. Seriously the mother and daughter were so openly blatant about it, that it is utterly disgusting and heartbreaking. They deserve what they had coming. At least they could have respected his feelings, talked to him about it. But no, they just went ahead and stabbed him in the back like that.
