#3 Thanksgiving

It wouldn't be wrong to say that every November is special because of this brilliant festival of sort called Thanksgiving. In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states.

It wasn't until 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November. One dish that makes the cut in the Menu of Thanksgiving every year without fail is TURKEY. Learn how to make an Upside down turkey on the further pages...

#2 Turkey

Turkey is a must have in your Thanksgiving dinner. Without a turkey, your thanksgiving dinner is incomplete. One of the most important characteristics of a delicious Thanksgiving turkey is moistness, but if you're anything like me, then that's not always the result. Sometimes, an evenly moist bird is difficult to achieve, and your guests won't be satisfied with dried-out turkey breasts or thighs.

So what to do now? Well, we are about to show you a trick to make a perfectly moist and delicious turkey like the one in the image above to impress your guests. Check out the video on the next page to see how it is done in a professional way.

#1 The Video

Start making notes already because this trick is going to do wonders with your Turkey. Also, instead of putting a rack in the bottom of the roasting pan, this technique uses buttered bread. The bread (ciabatta bread or rustic Italian loaf) is soft and won't damage the breast meat or skin on top of the bird. Plus, the butter will melt down in the pan and provide the turkey with tasty basting juices. This already sounds delicious, doesn't it?

By cooking the bird upside down on the bread, the result is deliciously moist light meat and thoroughly cooked dark meat. Now to see all this, check out the video below. I am sure you will like it.
