She was in the hospital for good 105 days before being discharged in August. But soon, she was again shifted to the hospital for further reconstruction on her over sized skull

The family managed to pay the hefty amounts of the surgery and treatments, all thanks to the outpouring support from the entire world. An incredible online crowd funding campaign raised $62,000 to go towards Roona's treatment.

Roona's mother said," The doctors said she would not live – but she has survived. She is much better now. She can hold her head straight and she can move her head from side to side on her own. She responds to other kids and she will smile if other kids call out her name."
