Dodge City High School
It was a big deal for the Dodge City High School to make it to the finals and the drills that they had prepared with so much dedication. When the lights went off, it really broke everyone's hearts.
"Hallelujah"
The performance started as one girl from the squad starts singing one of the most covered songs, "Hallelujah". But something seemed off, as the girls were actually dressed up as clowns and their capes were actually wings.
Twist
There was a twist waiting to unravel. Then all of a sudden the lights went off! Everyone was bewildered, but what came next, left them in awe!
The light went off!
That's when the beat changed and the whole crowd were confused, eagerly waiting for how the performance was going to progress. The music changed from soft ballad to a remix, and the light show started.
Magical performance
They gave a glorious performance that mesmerized everyone. The girls looked like, fairies, or angels, whatever seemed magical, and out of this world. They amazed the crowd with their amazing twist.
The Video
The coach, Debbi Conrardy is to be given credit for the drill team's choreography. She does an amazing job with teaching the young girls the skills to blend with the graceful dance. This awesome half time drill was so loved, that it is also praised to be Super Bowl worthy.
