13-year-old pet
Sadie, the 13-year-old pet who was adopted by her human parents when she was eight weeks old. This collie-dalmatian-shepherd cross was not at peace because her parent was missing. She was devastated even though her another human parent, Julia Beaulieu was there for her. She noticed her pet’s mind being in conflict because of her actions.
Nudged his hands
She said, “When the emergency workers ceased working on her husband at their home, their pup walked up to him, laid down beside him and nudged his hand with her nose.†Julia wasn’t alone who was devastated but Sadie was going through the same. Sadie would stand at the window, waiting for her human Dad to return home.
Sadie is sorrow
Sadie was so much in sorrow that she didn’t eat for 10 long days because of which she had become weak and lost 10 pounds. Sadie needed a closure and so when Julia planned her husband’s memorial service she made sure that Sadie was included in it.
Walked To The Casket
It is important to bid goodbye to a loved one in person as to accomplish closure. The four-legged pet walked up to the casket where her loved one laid and stood on her hind legs and peered in to say goodbye.
Memorial
This view shunned the others who were present at the ceremony and so they decided to take a heartfelt picture of the same. After the memorial, Sadie returned home and had her first meal, after the long fast. She was in sorrow but she was in peace after finally getting the closure that she needed.
