The owner of Hydraulic Press Channel is the Finnish factory owner called Lauri Vuohensilta and his wife Anni who started this channel in the year 2015. The channel is all about crazily crushing random things. They use the hydraulic machine to crush all the things. This mind-blowing idea was viewed by millions of users around the world.
The Challenge
A Hydraulic Press was used to crush something that was utterly unique and was never thought of. They decided to crush diamond into pieces. It is one of the hardest materials in the world. The task was not that easy as it looked to be. Let us see what happens when they start their experiment.
The Crushed Diamond
The diamond that was used for experiment under the Hydraulic Press and crushed into pieces was gifted by a diamond retailer. It was worth $4000 and 1.2 karats with all the necessary certificates to prove that it was an authentic diamond. This was surprising for many as who would give away such a precious stone for an experiment.
The Broken Heart
The Diamond was put under the machine and it was then crushed into pieces to everyone’s surprise. Diamonds are usually scratch free but that does not mean it cannot be crushed. The defect could be the covalent bond which makes it hard and fragile. This may be because of the poor cut.
This interesting yet heartbreaking experiment did reveal many facts. Hydraulic Press Channel proved to be mindlessly crushing anything and everything. Diamonds cannot even stop them.
