An addition of a grandchild in the family brings in a new blob of energy and joy in every Grandparent's life. Someone has rightly said that grandparents start reliving their childhood days again with their grandchildren. The new scientific theory will bring more joy in every grandparent's life. It is now scientifically proven that grandparents who babysit their grand kids have a reduced chance of developing dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Read more details on the further pages.

#2 The New Scientific Study

An entire research was conducted and the study was published by the journal of the North American Menopause Society. Thy followed 120 grandparents in Australia and found that those that babysat once a week scored higher on a range of cognitive tests. But this doesn't really mean the the ones who babysit a lot are better. They found out that too much babysitting led to poor results compared to once a week babysitting.

Those that babysat for five days per week or more struggled with the tests, so before you call mom and dad to ask them to babysit more, remember it is everything in moderation that works. There are still some details left, to know them, check out the next page and also see the video that talks about this research.
