Rejection
Rejection is something that everyone goes through and is afraid of, because of which they tend to keep things to themselves. It really breaks them but when you get rejected and still stand tall, to face the consequences, you are truly brave.
Confidence
Your confidence is shaken but you should be open to new experiences. Dakota Nelton is a high school sophomore and knows what it is like to be rejected, which is why she could understand Gray.
Gray
Gray is a teen from Louisiana who build up the courage to ask his crush out for the homecoming dance. He arrived with a homemade sign and a bag of Starbursts.
Sweet proposal
But his sweet proposal had to face a harsh rejection and he had to face humiliation in front of other people. The onlookers laughed on him and recorded the sight.
What Gary felt
All the bullies started circling his sign and Dakota knew how Gray felt at that exact moment. Gray said, “It was actually a pretty tough moment standing in a small circle with that one shake of the head and you just got to find your way out of that circle."
The video
As the video of his humiliation went viral, he was broken and felt the weakest, bit a group of 13 girls were planning something to boost his confidence up and made him realize that he is worth much more.
