Also known as Tinea Corporis, this fungal infection appears like a red circular sore on the skin with raised edges. And no, it is not really because of a worm, but just seems like it! Over time the area becomes scaly and the infection can spread through touch!

The best way is to use antifungal creams like Micatin, Lamisil, Lotrimin and Mycelex.

The name to this disease comes from the appearance of its fungus. Scales, pimples, bumps, redness, and itchy rash are the common symptoms of yeast infection. It is most commonly found in the groin and armpit area! Even though it is not contagious, it is better to beware!

Regular physical examinations are a must. Medicated creams are usually prescribed to get rid of the yeast infection. In extreme cases, oral medicines are prescribed as well!
