#3 Racism
No matter how much we claim to have developed over the years but certain harmful social elements in our society will keep pulling us back. Racism is one such element. We all say that it should be eradicated but how many of us actually believe in it?
Well, I don't know about others but a man called David C. Nicosia certainly do not believe in eradicating racism.
#2 The Incident
Nicosia, a 55 year old owns a business. He slapped a 79-year-old Arnette Hubbard, a silver-haired African-American woman, spit on her and called her "Rosa Parks" after becoming angry that she was smoking near him outside the Daley Center, authorities said.
The man was then arrested by sheriff's deputies and charged with four counts of aggravated battery and a hate crime. But this is not the best part. The best part is about to come. The man was in major trouble because of one simple reason. The man had no clue who that woman (he slapped) was.

That woman was a judge herself. Born in Arkansas, Hubbard graduated from Southern Illinois University and John Marshall Law School and began her legal career in 1969 working on civil rights cases, according to online biographies.
The man had no clue that he just indulged into a serious crime. Hubbard was appointed to the bench in 1997, re-elected to a six-year term the following year and retained in two more elections, most recently in 2010. The man was taken under custody.
