Good Deeds
We have reached the point that now we feel it’s time to stop wasting our planet and start cleaning it yet it feels in vain. Many projects, cleaning wastage had proved that there are some people who have the heart for doing good deeds. People say that caring for the environment is the lost cause but this man proved everyone wrong.
Heartbreaking
Majuli river is the world’s largest river island in Northern India but now it is affected with dry and sandy land that has lost its life source yet a man who is just a milk seller thought of changing the land by bringing life into it. Jadav Payeng was just 16 years old when he witnessed a heartbreaking scene, he saw numerous lifeless snakes on the Majuli dry island that was once flowed with water. These snakes were dragged into this land when there were floods and they got tired out due to excessive heat and lack of shade.
Resolution
Jadav couldn’t take this anymore he was devastated that made him take a resolution in creating something which no man could have believed it. He dedicated his whole life on those island by planting trees every day and made sure to tend them with care. His promise to save the land was turned into a beautiful dream that became alive because of the hard work that he served there for 40 years. And now the land looks much bigger than Central Park and 12 times the size of Vatican City.
Hardwork Paid Off
His work was appreciated by all and because of his dedication and hard work, it now becomes home to wildlife animals. His gift to nature was discovered when a journalist found this forest and soon his accomplishment was made into news and documentary.
Forest Man
People now call him a forest man and due to his efforts to change the world had literally earned him recognition throughout the world. People recognized him as a forest man of India which was termed by the former president of India. And after hearing this story we are sure that everything is possible when we put our heart into it.
