#5 The Tragedy
An 8-year-old boy suffered a terrible tragedy which would change his life forever.
This boy lived with his mother, alcoholic father and his little sister. As his father had an uncontrollable drinking problem, he would abuse and hurt his mum. Scared, the kids would hide in the closet. One day, they decided to fight back, and this boy dialled 911 and hid away. Listening to that, the police were notified.
#4 Police Saved The Day
Moments later, they heard two cops busting in the door and arrested his father. They took care of the kids and got medical help for his mother. Eventually they made sure that a report was filed followed by divorce and order for protection
#3 Changed Lives
This kid and his family started a new life with his mother working and he and his sister going to school. He decided to join the little league and play baseball even though he was not intending to be involved in social situations. During the try out, he discovered that the coach was the cop that rescued his family. Throughout his tenure of practice, he noticed that the coach never differentiated him from other kids. Having a coach who helped him through changed his life.
#2 Fate Calls
When he grew up, at 17 his mother was juggling with 2 jobs to help at home. Soon after he graduated, he joined the national guard which led him to go to pass the police test and be at the police quarters in his town.
#1 Gratitude couldn’t be enough for him
After 10 years, he was told that his coach was retiring. He went to his office to interview him and show gratitude for what he had become.
