Till date, there are so many things that are written about a black hole. It has been an ultimate favorite of our world of science. If we believe our scientific studies, it is possibly the deadliest area in the universe. And the latest findings by NASA just proves that it's everything science fiction warned us about.
NASA released new photos of a black hole swallowing up a star. This consumption is dubbed "stellar tidal disruptions," NASA said. The picture of this incident looks scary. This is not something that you get to see everyday.
#2 Spaghettified
"When a star passes within a certain distance of a black hole, the stellar material gets stretched and compressed - or "spaghettified" - as the black hole swallows it," NASA's Elizabeth Landau explained.
Our scientists always knew about this incident but they never ever got an opportunity to witness this and therefore, this event was very theoretical till date.

#1 How Researchers Saw This
The high-energy radiation destroys most of its surroundings. Farther away from the center of the action, the dust gets heated. Now this dust is really important for scientists.
"Our study confirms that the dust is there, and that we can use it to determine how much energy was generated in the destruction of the star," said Varoujan Gorjian, an astronomer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He further stated, "The black hole has destroyed everything between itself and this dust shell. It's as though the black hole has cleaned its room by throwing flames." Fascinating, right?
