#7 A Hand Full Of Ants
The Satere-Mawe Tribe follow a bullet ant gloving tradition where the young boys of the Amazonian tribes have to wear mitts full of bullet ants. Bullet ants are a species of ants whose bite is like as though your flesh was shot by a bullet. It is right of passage for the young men as they dance for 10 minutes wearing these gloves as a part of their transition to manhood.

In Bhutan, there's a tradition called 'Night Hunting', also known as 'Bomena.' It is a pre-marriage tradition in the eastern Himalayas where it actually legal for unmarried men to go to houses of spinsters for one night and do their heart's will. The catch is that if a man is caught he is either pressured to marry the girl he stayed with or work in the girl's father's field.

Of all the things here, this one takes the cake! There's actually a festival in Japan with the theme penis. This cultural event is called 'Kanamara Matsuri'. It's actually a festival where a steel penis was used to kill a demon who hid behind the vagina of a young girl and bit off the penises of two young men on their wedding nights.

This is an after marriage tradition in Tidong, Indonesia where the newly wed couple are prohibited from using the bathroom or taking a bath for three days. It's said that if they do, misfortune will befall their marriage forever. The married couple's relatives lend a hand during the 3 day time.

The Wodaabe tribe's Gerewol Festival is more or less like a beauty pageant. But the thing is all the participants are male! Men dress up, dance and sing in order to impress the women to court them.
#2 Eating The Dead Relatives
The Yanomami Tribe of the Amazon, believe that in order for the dead to truly attain salvation, their dead body must be eaten. And after eating whatever can be eaten, they make a plantain soup out of the ash from the dead body and eat it.

There's a tradition in a small village in India where it is believed that throwing the baby from the roof of a temple will bring the baby luck and goodness. The baby is caught using a cloth.
