#7 If you thought the gangsters in movies were scary then wait until you check out these thugs...
Gangsters. Gang rivalry. All of these are much better on screens. Because in real life, they are way to dark and complicated than one might expect.
I, for one, by the end of this list sincerely hoped that any'gangster' in my life is the one that appears on screen.

Apparently the worst everywhere else too. They call themselves the Mighty Mongrels and it's said they are as dangerous AF.
#6 They are as bad as they come...
....More than we can comprehend.
They are involved in everything and anything illegal, starting from trafficking, prostitution to armed robbery.
The Mighty Mongrels have done it all.

This distinct look is exclusive to the Mighty Mongrel gang.

#4 Worst gang in the world...And proud of it.
The reputation the Mighty Mongrels have,is almost legendary.
They stand strong. Their fierce eyes will chill your souls. They fear nothing. And they are invincible.
And thanks to photographer Jono Rotman we get seem the Mighty Mongrels, the world's worst gang in New Zealand up close.

c. You might get killed.
d. They are the world's worst gang.....(nothing funny at all)
e. They are THE MIGHTY MONGRELS!
Not just anyone could do this..
But Jono Rotman did. And so nailed it.

I can't imagine it being any less than a sacrificial dance. The sacrifice being Jono himself.*shivers*
It was definitely not easy as presumed.
Like with all gangs, when you need something this big done, you go to the one in the top.
#1 So that's what Jono Rotman did..
But once he got the top guy's consent, it was much easier because everyone sort of coordinated with Jono.
But regardless, it was a nerve wracking experience for Jono..
The photographer says that,"There was always a tacit understanding that they could kill me."
