Discovery of America
Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus is one of the most important chapters in the history. But wait! Here is something more and new to the story. It is said that Columbus did not actually discover America because Nomadic tribes from the Bering Land Bridge across Alaska used to be settled in America thousands of years ago. So, it is just that the land was not known America but it had human habitation. Colonies were set up after Columbus came to know about the land.

Horned Helmets.
Well! Did you know that Vikings never wore horned helmets as shown in history books. It is just the artist's imagination and creativity that he drew Vikings with horned helmets. Horned helmets actually came into being some thousand years ago during the Bronze age and were actually used in ritualistic and religious ceremonies.

Knight's armour
Medieval history is one of the best of history because of its amazing fighting weapons. My favorite weapon was the plate armour which I thought was the heaviest one. Was it actually heavy? No! It weighed only 30-50 lbs. Well! Another myth! Another lie!

Stonehenge
I always wondered how can the stones be in the same place for so many years. But, now studies say that had the stones were restored at a point of time. It is a mystery on how the stones got there in the first place, but it’s highly doubtful that they’ve been in the same position we see them in today.

Sphinx Nose
I always had in mind that Sphinx lost his nose because of Napoleon as he hit his nose. However, it is all said to be a made up story as Napoleon was not even born till that time. It is said that a religious leader Muhammad Al-Sa’im Ad-Dahr destroyed Sphinx's nose because people worshipped Sphinx's idol which was prohibited in Islam.
