Marilyn Monroe was the ultimate iconic actress from the 1950's. Needlessly to say, she was beautiful and gorgeous. And to see her as she is when she died in the above picture, it's heartbreaking. To imagine that this was the woman who was the sex symbol of the 1950's...
Reports state that the police found her dead in her own bed due to barbiturate poisoning.
For those of you, who don't know what barbiturate is, they are a kind of sleeping drug.
#6 River Phoenix(31st October, 1993)
River Phoenix was many things- musician, actor and activist. This American actor was at the peak of his career when he died.
He died outside the Viper Room on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles,on a sidewalk due to heavy heroin and cocaine dosage.
#5 Paul Walker(30th November, 2013)
Paul Walker, was an American actor who was famously known for his role in the Fast and Furious movie franchise. He was an actor like no other, who if given the choice would have achieved so much more.
The one thing about his death(sad or good, you decide), he died doing what he loved.
The reason for his death was due to the reason that his car, which was running with the excess speed of 100 mph, lost its control and crashed into a light pole in Valencia.
I still can't get over this. He will forever stay on in our hearts.
#4 Anna Nicole Smith(8th February, 2007)
Anna Nicole Smith was a famous American actress, model and TV personality. She gained immense popularity when she was crowned as the Playboy's 'Playmate of the Year' in 1993.
She died in a hotel room of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. Her autopsy report which took seven weeks to be prepared said that she died of combined drug inebriation.
Anna Nicole had prior to this, attempted to kill herself by taking multiple drugs but succeeded this time.
#3 Kurt Cobain(5th April, 1994)
Kurt Cobain was the lead singer of the famous rock band Nirvana. He was also the guitarist,and primary songwriter of the band.
It goes without much saying that Cobain lived a very interesting life.
But it came as a surprise to everyone when he shot himself with a shotgun.
He left behind a suicide note and it was later revealed that he was under the influence of a lethal dose of heroin at the time of his death.
#2 Princess Diana(31st August, 1997)
The once most loved royal figure(she is loved even till today) was killed in a fatal car crash in France.
You will be surprised to know that she didn't die in the crash but rather because of the injuries she suffered from the accident.
The Princess Of Wales had multiple cardiac arrests and died on her arrival at the hospital
#1 Whitney Houston(11th February, 2012)
Whitney Houston was a music icon.
She was found dead in a guest room in the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California.
She was found, face down in a water-filled bathtub. Accidental drowning was determined as the cause of death. Autopsy reports confirmed that Whitney was under the influence of heavy doses of drugs like marijuana, Benadryl, Xanax, cocaine, and Flexeril.
