THE EVENT
Photographers are a need of the hour especially with social media driving us all "like" hungry, if there is one profession that has picked up (along with the social media companies themselves) it is photography. Be it any event, capturing it from start to end is essential and seldom seem to let go and soak in the moment for themselves!

THE MAN IN SPOTLIGHT
Now, Jacob Peters was hired to shoot a proposal early this morning. The booking was done on call and all he had to do was get to the location, and click click click. Seems simple right?

THE SETTING
Peters was asked to arrive at a particular hiking trail early in the morning and was explained the whole route, details etc. So he reached there and started trekking up. Reached the peak for sunrise, and as the sky turned golden yellow, he saw the man go down on his knees!

THE MIX UP
But there was a slight issue. This dude lost his cellular connectivity very early into the trail. Having not co-ordinated with the client, he marched up on the hike. Having reached his spot, he saw some random dude propose to his girlfriend and assumed that these were the "clients"

THE TRAIL
The Hawkbill Craig trail, Wisconsin is pretty surreal, as you can see. So we get it that early in the morning, amidst all this beauty, it could get a little difficult to focus. But this was a major screw up!

HOW IT HAPPENED!
So turns out Peters woke up super early and hiked up. At about 6:15 am, he saw the guy pull out a ring from his pocket and kneel down. Believing that this was the same one who had contacted him, he started clicking away.

THE TRUTH IS REVEALED!
Pleased with the pictures he had captured, the photographer came down to the parking. Having got his signal back, he texted the client saying that the pictures would be ready in a bit. The client was surprised and said that they in fact reached the location super late and that they never saw the photographer at the venue. Major Mix Up, mr. Peters?

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL!
Turns out this was indeed a giant mix up! He wasted his six and half hours, $40 gas, and 450 pictures, just to shoot a wrong proposal. However, he didn’t want all his effort to go in vain. That’s why he decided to turn to Facebook so that he can locate the couple and give them the pictures. Luckily, some people helped him and he found the couple.

HOW LUCKY!
While the couple who called for this dude may have had the worst nightmare come true, but atleast for one other couple, it was a gift of a lifetime. Wonder how this photographer's business is doing now!
