Banana
Banana produce ethylene gas so if we will cover the stems with plastic or aluminium foil it will stop from spreading to other part of the fruit. It softening very quickly.

Onions
Don't keep onions packed or in plastic it get moisture in a short amount of time. Keep it in a cool place with little light. The best you all can do is keep it in a nylon stockings and hang them to keep them better. It will be best for 6-8 months.

Garlic
Keep garlic in a container or a paper bag that is in a dark and dry place.It will last for 2 months. If you separate the cloves, their storage time is shortened to 3 to 10 days.

Potatoes
Don't keep potatoes in a plastic bags. To Keep Potatoes best keep it in a refrigerator. It is better to put them in paper bag. The ideal storage temperature ranges from 44ºF to 51ºF. Raw potatoes after proper storage will last for 1 to 2 weeks.

Tomatoes
Tastiest Veggie or fruit tomatoes are everyone favorite mostly. When we keep in the freezer it loses its flavor. The best thing to do is to keep them at a temperature above 50ºF.

Strawberries
Strawberries get decompose in few hours. So when we bring fresh strawberries first wash them right before eating them, otherwise they will absorb water and begin to soften. To disinfect them you can use 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. But keep it in mind that there shouldn't be any decomposed strawberry because it will spoil other also.

Lemon
Sometimes we use only one half of the lemon and we end up throwing the other half of it in the trash. So the best idea is wrap it in a foil or else put salt on the pulp and keep it in a refrigerator. Before using wash it. It will last for 3 days.

Peeled Potatoes
Yes, when we peel the potatoes it start turning brown or grey. To prevent this, place them in a container, cover them with water, add a few drops of white vinegar, and store them in the refrigerator. It will last for 4 days.

Ripe Bananas
To keep ripe bananas in good condition, remove the peel, cut them in half, and place them in an airtight bag and freeze them. They can last for 2 to 3 months.

Avocado
To stop losing its green color and turning black, put a few drops of lemon on it until all the pulp is covered. It will retain its color for 1 to 2 days.
