These tissues which are located primarily at the back of the throat filter out bacteria and viruses, but since they are prone to infections, people tend to get them removed.

Well, initially all fetuses start out as females until the Y chromosome kicks in, turning some of them male. Hence, these are the byproducts you get for a lifetime!

#7 Appendix
You can certainly live without it. But like many people thought, it is not as useless as it has been thought over the years. It functions as storage for beneficial bacteria that are meant to repopulate the gut after an illness washes out our old bugs.

They are the remnants from our long lost tails and hence are useless!

#5 Wisdom teeth
Wisdom is difficult to attain and so are wisdom teeth! Only 5% of us have a room for such teeth, but they are useless now.

While 95% humans have only 12 set of ribs, 5 percent of humans and all chimps and gorillas have an extra set near the neck.

#3 Female Vas deferens
Well, yes it is! An important part of Male Reproductive organ, but for females they are useless. As a female fetus develops, these potential pipes shrivel into dead-end tubes.

#2 Arrectores Pilorum
Today, all this does is gets us goosebumps! And we're good to go without them as well!

#1 Pinky Toes
They were useful for our ape ancestors, but for us, they are just useless. We can walk well with the four toe fingers, fifth one just hangs along!
