Some iPhone Mistakes Everyone Makes
It is very important to know the answer of this question before you start using the phone. Do you need your phone on every second of the day? When you leave your phone on 24/7 essentially the battery is being stressed and this will eventually stop it from working. When needing an alarm consider going the old fashion route with a morning alarm clock.
#9 Over 'Plugging'
This is not a rocket science to understand. When you plug your phone in at night and leave it plugged in, your battery may be getting charged, but you're killing it at the same time. That's right, all those late night plug-ins and not unplugging when charged can destroy your battery more than help it.
#8 Screen Brightness
Brightness is always a matter of concern as it directly deals with your battery clarity of display. Setting your screen too bright decreases your iPhone battery life as well. Set your screen at a lower light level if you have it set to blinding brightness. After all, do you really need to glow in the daylight when using your phone?
#7 iPhone Applications
iPhone is majorly about applications and other facilities. Downloaded apps that you aren't using takes up space and also wastes the iPhone's power. If an app is useful and you find that you use it a lot then keep it, but when it's been sitting in the background for weeks and you haven't opened it even once, it's time for its deletion.
#6 Bluetooth & Wi-Fi
Connectivity makes a phone really important and when you mess it up with that, you are basically messing up with your phone. Keeping the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings on drains the phone's energy. Solve it simply by shutting off the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
#5 Location Tracker
Internet Sucks!! Literally. When you allow GPS on all of your apps, you're essentially draining your battery life every second of the day. There is no reason for your apps to know your location at all times and when you allow that, they scan your iPhone constantly to track you AND that in itself is kinda creepy.
#4 Phone Beeps
Lets just say that every time your phone beeps, it is getting destroyed. You phone constantly scans to let you know when you have new messages, and while this may be great for the ego, it's certainly not for the life of your iPhone. Each "push" of email or other messages from apps destroys the energy level of your battery life. Turn those pushes off and check for new messages periodically.
#3 Outdoor Temperature
Your phone isn't a thermometer. It is sensitive. iPhones are temperature sensitive. Extreme heat or even cold can cause them to shut down forever. Strive to keep your iPhone at room temperature at all times.
#2 Password Protection
Protection is important. Over half of iPhone users say they don't use a password to lock their phones, yet iPhones are a hot commodity for thieves, so be sure to keep your phone locked and use a good password.
#1 Apple Charger
A charger can cause tons of problems. Did you know although off brands are cheaper, using non-Apple chargers have been known to cause iPhone to burn up? Yikes! So never ever use a duplicate charger for your Apple device.
