Tragic: Celebrities Who Lost Their Lives By Jumping Or Falling To Their Deaths.
World Wrestling Federation fans knew Owen Hart as "the Rocket" or "the Blue Blazer." He died tragically during a pre-match publicity stunt when he fell from 78 feet.
Hart fell when a release mechanism disengaged on a cable affixed to the ceiling from the safety vest he was wearing, hitting his head on one of the wrestling ring's padded turnbuckles. He was later pronounced dead of internal bleeding.
#16 Jerry Fuchs.
Gerhardt "Jerry" Fuchs, a drummer for indie-rock bands like !!! He was a member of the bands Turing Machine, The Juan MacLean and Maserati, and performed drums live with the group LCD Soundsystem.
Fuchs was caught in a broken elevator. When assistance arrived and the doors were pried open, he attempted to jump out of the elevator car. Upon landing, his hood caught on something, pulling him off balance, and he accidentally fell. He was 34 years old.

Donny Hathaway was an American jazz, blues, soul and gospel singer, songwriter and pianist. He was known for his famous songs like "The Ghetto", "Someday We'll All Be Free" and "Where Is the Love."
It was found that he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and was known to take strong medication daily to try to control the illness. He commited suicide by jumping from his own balcony on the 15th floor.
#14 DJ Mehdi.
DJ Mehdi, was a French hip hop and house producer. He's well known for his electronic remixes. Mehdi died when the skylight of his Paris home collapsed while he was celebrating his friend's birthday with a group of friends on the roof. Mehdi was the only fatality, while three others were injured.
#13 Spalding Gray.
He was an actor and writer, he died in 2004. Gray had a history of depression, and according to the reoprts he died after jumping off the Stalen Island Ferry into the harbor of New York. Before that he was reported as missing since two months. After his body was discovered, the investigator concluded it as suicide. He also attempted to kill himself in 2002.

We all know capital steez from the pro era movement. Very talented individual who was lost at a very young age. He jumped off the rooftop of the Cinematic Music Group building in New York. Before commiting suicide he texted a few of his closest friends to tell them that he loved them, and posted a tweet saying, "The end."

Tony Scott, the younger brother of director Ridley Scott, became famous for films such as Top Gun and True Romance, took his own life in 2012 following a lengthy battle with cancer. He killed himself by jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles. He was 68-years-old when he commited suicide.
#10 Albert Ayler.
Albert Ayler was an avant-garde jazz saxophonist, singer and composer. Ayler disappeared on November 5, 1970, and he was found dead in New York City's East River on November 25, a presumed suicide. He was 34 years.

She was an American photographer, well known for her black-and-white photography. Many of her photographs show young women who are nude, blurred, merging with their surroundings, or whose faces are obscured.
Woodman died by suicide, jumping out of a loft window of a building on the East Side of New York. She was 22 years old.
#8 Charmaine Dragun.
She was an Australian broadcast journalist and presenter. She was also a co-anchor on Ten Eyewitness News. Dragun, had been diagnosed with depression and had a history of anorexia. She died by comitting suicide near The Gap in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, where she jumpped off an ocean cliff.

Kurt Vonnegut was an American author. He is most famous for his darkly satirical, and for his best-selling novel Slaughterhouse-Five. Kurt died on April 11, 2007, at the age of 84, as a result of head injuries sustained in a fall at his home in New York few weeks earlier.
She was a French fashion model and actress known for her comedic roles in The Pink Panther and What's New Pussycat? She jumped to her death from her eighth-floor apartment, it was reported that she was suffering from illness and depression for some time.

He was an television actor. He killed his landlady and her cat and then died by falling off the roof of his home, His death was labelled as an accident beacause there was no sign that he had an intension to kill himself.
#4 Ann B. Davis.
Ann B. Davis, was known for her role as the beloved housekeeper on "The Brady Bunch." She died at the age of 88. Davis fell and hit her head in the bathtub, causing a subdural hematoma, and never regained consciousness.
#3 Humphrey Jennings.
Jennings was an English documentary filmmaker and one of the founders of the Mass Observation organisation. He died in Poros, Greece in a fall on the cliffs of the Greek island while scouting locations for a film.
#2 Alberto Olmedo.
Alberto Olmedo was an Argentine comedian and actor. He died at the age of 54. According to police reports, he slipped off his eleventh-floor apartment's balcony.
It is believed that he tried, possibly under the influence of alcohol or cocaine, to perform a high-wire stunt on the balcony and lost his balance.

He was an physician and cardiologist, best known for the "Atkins Nutritional Approach", or "Atkins Diet." In 2003, at age 72, Dr. Atkins slipped on the ice while walking to work, hitting his head and causing bleeding around his brain.
