Shaving can be a boring and tedious task. But it is one that we have been taught is necessary. Whether it is to prepare for an important job interview, or just to look good at a formal party, we have all shaved at one point or another.
Except for this man. Ever since facial hair first appeared on his face at the tender age of 16. He has never once considered shaving it. Not once in the 40 years following that.
#2 Ralph "Boonie" Lethbridge
Who is he? His name is Ralph "Boonie" Lethbridge.
Shaving after a long time can make a person look completely different. But this man was doing it after 40 whole years!
Of course people gathered to watch it happen. Enough people gathered to fill an entire skating rink to watch the event. He walked into the middle of the rink and sat down. The people held their breath....

If you're going to do something do it for a good reason. Why did Ralph do it? He did it to raise money for charity.
The event raised a grand total of $51,000 for a local ALS charity (you can donate online here). Lethbridge's good friend, Larry, was recently diagnosed with the disease. Watch the two emotionally embrace after Lethbridge's touching sacrifice.
