These Movie Plots Existed For Real
Remember the Ferris Bueller hack? Well, that took place in real life as well. In the movie, sometimes it's hard to tell where Ferris' sociopath begins and ends.
There was a part in the movie where Ferris uses his computer to hack into the school records and change his troubling number of absences from nine to two.
In real life, a 17 year old teen attempted to do the same. Of course, the teen hacker didn't alter his absences. He went a few steps further, giving himself and his friends better grades and messing with the entire school schedule. Unfortunately, he was caught!
#5 An Arrested Development Plot
In Arrested development, Bluth family patriarch George Sr. constantly taught lessons to his children through elaborate ruses. These usually involved a one-armed man who would stage dangerous accidents.
An equally concerned Dad, in real life, orchestrated an elaborate con to teach his kids a lesson about stranger danger. He hired one of his friends to play a stranger.
Understandably, the kids got freaked out. They locked themselves in an upstairs bedroom, climbed out the window, jumped to the ground, and ran to a neighbor's house to call 911. Well, unbelievable.

#4 Scooby-Doo Flashbacks!
In most of the scooby-doo episode, the villain is the one they met sometime earlier wearing a shitty rubber mask. But then, you'd wonder who uses a rubber mask in real life?
Well, this guy! A man indicted on drug trafficking charges, Shizz Miller (who was presumably arrested for drug trafficking after police simply rounded up everyone named "Shizz"), was cornered by police at his residence.
He wore a rubber mask to work in disguise but then, Cops ended up busting him!
#3 Up's Balloon Trip
So a man, simply tried to recreate up's balloon trip, has to jump down and gets arrested. The guy's plan to skydive with all those balloons failed miserably.
#2 The Mighty Duck's Goal Scheme
A team actually adopted villainous coach's scheme from the mighty ducks simply led to their disqualification.
An Illinois little league baseball team allegedly concocted a similar plan to that of the Ducks' rivals, but to even greater extremes, presenting fake address forms and "fraudulent maps" to the league. Obviously, they didn't get away with it.
#1 Seinfeld's Cross-State Bottle Deposit Scam
A guy tries Seinfeld's cross-state bottle deposit scam, is promptly pulled over and arrested. Why do people think that they can get away with such stuff?
