She used to report for Suncoast Digest on WXLT-TV Channel 40. The show discussed community affairs and ran every weekday morning at 9 a.m. Her life was kind of perfect. So what prompted her to take such a drastic step?
Checkout her real story ahead.
No one around her ever knew that she is clinically depressed. She struggled with the fact that she was single. She even had suicidal tendencies and had attempted an overdose in 1970. But she always hid this from the world as she never wanted people to know about her sadness.
Her bosses approved Chubbock's story idea about suicide just a few weeks before the incident as they were unaware of her real condition. She visited a local sheriff's department for the story and asked about the most effective way to commit suicide. He suggested a .38 calibre revolver loaded with a special type of bullet.
