Police Officers Thought They Found Stolen Cars, But What These Actually Are Is Terrifying
6 people went missing 40 years ago.
In 1969, a 1950 Chevy went missing along with the three people who were traveling in it. And hardly 12 months later, another 3 went missing. This time it was 3 teens from Elk City, Oklahoma who were driving a brand new, blue 1969 Camaro.
The case has remained open till today.
One of the teens was Jimmy Williams and he along with his friends were headed to a football game. He was the owner of the Camaro. One friend of Jimmy said that at the time there were no leads, no nothing. He said it was just like they vanished into thin air.
#4 Five Bodies In A Lake
When a couple of highway patrol officers were testing their sonar equipment at Foss Lake near Elk City, Oklahoma, they happen to stumble upon the rusting 1969 Camaro and a Chevrolet dating back to the 1950s.
Later investigation revealed that the 5 bodies found in the lake, three bodies were those of the teens in the Camaro and the other two were unidentified.

#3 A Chance Finding In Foss Lake
The cars were found by chance when a couple of divers were testing out their sonar equipment. Later police officers were alerted.
According to Betsy Randolph, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 'They went back and did a scheduled dive today and were going to recover the cars. When they pulled the cars out of the water, the first one that came out they found bones in the car,' she said.'There were five teams involved in the recovery, but not cause of death can be determined until we examine the remains in the lab.'
#2 The other bodies
The other bodies were later identified as the remains of 69-year-old John Alva Porter and his friends Nora Duncan and Clebern Hammack.
The teens who were Jimmy Williams, Leah Johnson, and Michael Rios went missing while on their way to a football game on November 20, 1970.
The discovery of the rusting vintage cars at the bottom of the lake has reignited the case of the mysterious disappearing of 6 people 40 years ago.

#1 No ordinary missing case
While most of the relatives of the missing people are welcoming this closure of finally what happened to their dear ones. Foul play has not been ruled out. Many are questing the circumstances of the death and are saying its more than merely two isolated accidents.
There have been demands that the other areas of the lake be searched as well.
Police say that even though there is no way of ascertaining what happened all those years ago, they plan to investigate it thoroughly.
